Who We Are
Since 2018, Sportybet has served over 500,000 players across Malaysia — offering a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience in Sports Betting, live casino, and card games. This is our story.
About Sportybet
Sportybet was built with one simple goal: to create an online betting platform truly designed for Malaysians. Not a half-translated copy of a foreign site, but a platform that understands how Malaysians communicate, how they pay, how they like to play — and most importantly, how they want to feel safe and respected as users.
Sportybet's story began in 2018, when a small group of individuals passionate about technology and sports came together around a shared vision. They saw a clear gap in the market — many Malaysian players were using foreign platforms that didn't support local payments, offered no Bahasa Melayu support, and simply didn't understand local users' needs and interests. Sportybet was built as the answer to exactly that problem.
Seven years on, Sportybet has grown into one of the most recognised names in Malaysia's online betting industry. Over 500,000 registered members from every corner of the country — from Perlis to Sabah, from major cities to small towns — have trusted Sportybet as their platform of choice for Sports Betting, live casino, baccarat, blackjack, poker, roulette, and much more.
What sets Sportybet apart from other platforms isn't just the number of games or the size of the bonuses — it's an unwavering commitment to a genuinely great user experience. We listen to member feedback, we update our platform regularly, and we're always looking for ways to make playing at Sportybet faster, safer and more enjoyable.
Sportybet's mission is simple and clear: to provide the safest, fairest, and most enjoyable online betting platform for Malaysians. Every decision we make — from selecting game providers to designing the mobile interface, from choosing deposit methods to how we train our customer support team — is measured against one question: is this the best outcome for our members?
Our long-term vision is to be more than just the top choice for Malaysian players — we aim to set the industry standard in security, transparency and responsible gaming. We believe healthy betting is betting that is controlled, informed and done purely for entertainment — not out of desperation. This is the value that has guided every step Sportybet has taken since day one.
Sportybet operates under an official licence and is subject to strict regulations that ensure all gambling activities are conducted transparently and fairly. Our platform uses 256-bit SSL encryption to protect all personal data and financial information of our members. All of our RNG games have been independently audited to guarantee fairness — you can play with full confidence that every outcome is genuinely random and cannot be manipulated.
We also partner with certified international live dealer providers and operate through professionally managed, regulated streaming studios. This means every live baccarat, roulette, or blackjack game on Sportybet features a real game with a real dealer — not a computer simulation. Transparency is the foundation of trust, and trust is the foundation of Sportybet.

Our Journey
From humble beginnings in 2018, Sportybet has reached a series of key milestones that shaped the platform you know today. This is a journey we are proud of — and it is still going.
Every year brings new challenges and new opportunities. We learn from our members' feedback, we adapt to changes in technology, and we always hold on to one thing that never changes: our commitment to the trust and satisfaction of every Sportybet player.
The Sportybet platform officially launched with a primary focus on Sports Betting — Malaysian Super League and EPL football. The first member registered in March 2018. Payment support via FPX and direct bank transfer was available from day one.
Sportybet expanded the platform by adding a Live Casino section — including baccarat and roulette with Bahasa Melayu-speaking dealers. That same year, Touch 'n Go eWallet and GrabPay integration was launched, making deposits easier than ever for Malaysian members.
Sportybet reached 100,000 registered members — a milestone we celebrated together with our loyal community. That same year, the Sportybet mobile platform was fully optimised for Android and iOS devices, with load times of under 3 seconds even on a standard 4G connection.
Sportybet added DuitNow support — making deposits and withdrawals faster than ever. That same year, live blackjack with stakes starting from RM 5 was launched, attracting a new segment of players looking for a more strategic casino experience.
Sportybet reached 500,000 registered members across Malaysia — from Perlis to Sabah. An online poker section featuring Texas Hold'em and Omaha tables was launched, completing Sportybet's casino game suite. A VIP programme was also introduced to reward loyal members.
Sportybet continues to grow with the addition of new game variants, enhanced security systems, and an improved user experience. We are committed to remaining the top online betting platform of choice for Malaysians in the years ahead.
Core Values
More than just a slogan — these are the principles behind every decision we make at Sportybet, every single day.
Everything we do — from data security to payment transparency — is built around earning and keeping our members' trust. Without trust, nothing else matters.
All games on Sportybet use independently audited RNG. No one gets an unfair advantage. Every player — from those betting RM 10 to RM 10,000 — deserves an equal chance.
Sportybet is more than a platform — it is a community. We have built a space where Malaysian players can enjoy games together, share experiences, and feel part of something bigger.
We never settle for the status quo. We are constantly looking for ways to make Sportybet better — faster, safer, more enjoyable — driven by real feedback from our members.
Responsible Gaming
At Sportybet, we believe that truly good entertainment is entertainment that causes no harm. Betting should be one way to have fun and enjoy your leisure time — not a source of financial stress or everyday problems.
That is why Sportybet provides a range of responsible gaming management tools that you can use directly from your account. Set daily or weekly deposit limits, session loss limits, playtime limits, or take a full voluntary break — all controls are in your hands.
We also provide resources and information for players who may need additional support. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, don't hesitate to reach out to the Sportybet support team — we're here to listen and help, with full empathy and zero judgment.
